A miracle that will not be repeated! When we first unrolled this entirely singular 170-year-old Persian Senneh, there was a sudden silence in the room except for the gasps that ensued after seeing what was before us. Gold Coasts Collection Sold Out! 4' 2" x 6' 0" 127cm x 183cm Circa 1850 This style is rarely found in the medallion format, and pieces of such antiquity are seldom seen. Here an entirely novel architectural centerpiece with rosette, plumes, and acanthus leaves drifts upon a spacious abrash-textured indigo reserve, creating a mesmerizing sense of infinite depth. Emanating elegance and power, the contours have an especially chiseled look as though a mason just put down their finishing tools looking upon their work with great satisfaction. As seen in every tiny knot and entrancing motif rife with spontaneity, this exceptionally finely woven paragon was woven by a consummate rugmaker, working through the lens of a lifetime of experience. Its exceedingly good condition defies its venerable age.
