Rather than the single overscale vase at the foot of its field, its incredibly dexterous weaver presents two diminutive vases of dissimilar patterns and multiple elaborate wreathes. Many birds of various species roosts in the blossom-laden boughs against the warm cream ground of the asymmetrically shaped field with sprandrels in its lower corners, but none at its upper end. An entirely festive border features many more fowl, hopping bunnies, exotic tulips and roses. Astonishingly saturated scarlet, sapphire and pumpkin orange highlights its virtuoso palette.
