The rabbit with psychedelic ears at the lower right corner appears to be astonished by the veritable wonderland unfurling before its eyes in a visually playful facet of this area-size jewel. Ebullient, expertly dyed colors, including a rare Delft blue, teal, brass, burnished gold, and rich guava tones, fill each etched bough and frond, layered sensitively for realism. A tumbling swirl of blossoms, wreaths and garlands illumine the festive frame.
