The border and central mandala are particularly beautiful. This finely knotted Kerman is in a wonderful state of preservation and suitable for the most discerning rug connoisseurs.

Vintage Persian Heriz rug in a nice small squarish size. The main ground is tomato red with border and medallion in navy-indigo blue. Accents in cream, gold, aqua, sky blue, salmon, medium blue, and coral.
Size: 5’2”x6’0”
Age: 1940-1950
Origin: Heriz, Northwest Persia
Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on cotton foundation.
Condition: Good condition overall with mostly low pile and a few areas showing wear. As with most hand knotted rugs, it is not a perfect rectangle. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use.
