One of the hidden treasures in antique Persian rugs is the Manchester Kashan. These incredibly soft and lustrous rugs were made in Kashan from wool processed in Manchester England. This gorgeous example draws its attraction from a shimmering sapphire blue ground, a pure red border and accents in emerald green, jade green, butter yellow, aquamarine, cobalt blue, fawn, pink, and walnut. Interestingly, there is no white. The spacious floral artwork is calming and serene. Size is 8'11"x11'4" and it dates to the 1900-1920 period. This dreamy beauty is currently available.
