Beyond the meadow, houses sit on the edge of the woods, home to an incredible assortment of birds. Stately elk and countless bunnies populate the arboreal border. It captures a sense of nature akin to the flower paintings of Georgia O’Keefe, where the beauty and life force that animate the tree are palpable, expressed through intentionally enlarged blossoms and leaves. Here, the saturated jewel-toned Ferahan palette clearly intensifies the delirium that seems to be attracting fancifully ornamented butterflies and birds.
