The most wonderful antique Kashan pair in my collection, and one of the top three I have ever had. Freshly in with saturated natural dyes TO DYE FOR! Luscious, lush Kork baby lambswool of the first shearing and of the highest order. A most attractive design, rich in flowery ornament and complex in ingenious creativity. Small details that add to the overall awesomeness: the brilliantly green Christmassy cypress tree in the middle; the unusual outermost red border guard; the in-and-out curvaceous main border; its diagonally oriented flowering vases; and the total absence of a medallion or mehrab—this is a rare instance of a pair of Kashan “Tree” carpets.
