MANCHESTER KASHAN The ultra soft Manchester wool enhances this striking, potently colored Kashan. The field is an elaborate display of exquisitely drawn floral bouquets, the result of unusually fine knotting, set on a visually dazzling shade of magenta-red. The border demonstrates the weavers' virtuosity, ornamented with detailed minarets, pineapples, teapots and dancing foliage. After 90 years this carpet remains in excellent condition.
