Here, the field displays the classic central medallion and corner piece format revealing Ganjeh’s legendary delicacy of the drawing and execution that is nothing short of breath-taking. On exhibit is a mind-bending dimensionality where individual vine strands appear to be interweaving on different levels. The lobed centerpiece, mirrored in each corner, is an elegant parchment-toned medallion fashioned with striking, finely etched filigree and an inner teardrop motif filled with an astonishing, singular turquoise dye that also adorns the spandrel divisions and predominates in the main border.
