It magnificently showcases a range of radiant blues dyes between morning glory and periwinkle that other regions found extremely difficult to duplicate. These mid-tone blues are so unforgettable that they have earned the title “Sultanabad Blue.” Also part of the rug's deeply appealing color palette is its nuanced brick red field with highlights of camel and other earth tones and rare Tyrian purple.
