Along with verdant cypress tree motifs, countless individually rendered botanical species are each in full bloom, invoking a profusion of robin’s egg blue, periwinkle, and garnet accent tones. The sense of fluid motion continues in the equally intricate borders, where formal cloudbands lying in alternate directions add a celestial note to the flourishing botanical field. This over 130-year old floral carpet has very fine knotting, is in excellent condition.
