The concentric arrangement of frames of the medallion, of the ivory reserve and of the main border is particularly compelling. Exotic rounded cartouches in the corner spandrals stand out and delightfully echo the complex circular medallion. The harmonious color palette include cranberry, ivory, midnight blue, scarlet, leaf green and carnation. Its condition is delightfully, especially when considering its nearly 150 years of age.
