Its masterfully template presents a cornsilk hued reserve (replacing the more common ivory base) that more softly yet dramatically sets off the use of midnight blue throughout. Instead of a typically lobed, rounder shape, the central medallion has a slender presence, sharing rather than dominating the field. Supple, relaxed vinery weaves through teeming, crisply drawing flowerheads, thereby providing an intriguging contrast.
