With purposefully bold dark coral streaks, a color-shifting carnelian reserve reflects a daring artistic proclivity from another time. These more potent shades are paired with an elegantly faceted elliptical medallion and elongated corner spandrels of luminous parchment. The fluidly scrolling, finely outlined vinery glazed in exquisite celadon and pale gold blush, each drawn with extraordinary finesse, ensures the negative space integral to the composition. With the midnight tulip and rosette main border as a counterpoint, a remarkable visual symphony is completed. Signs of heavier use in the upper field brings to this dynamic piece an extremely advantageous price.
