Price upon request! 8' 9" x 12' 4" 267cm x 376cm Late 19th Century (Connoisseur-Caliber) Known for their wide palettes of jewel toned colors and magnificent medallions, Ferahan Sarouks have enraptured European and American buyers for over two centuries for the distinctive presence they bring to a home. Here a deep spruce green medallion supported by apple green vinery in the spandrels stunningly interact with the persimmon toned field and large blossom at the carpet’s center. The medallion is splendid, culminating in deepest midnight indigo while the field hosts delicate tendrils alight with myriad-hued tiny flowers, each of individual form and character. The border suite continues the tour-de-force drawing and coloration. In superb, heavier pile condition, this 19th century example is outstanding in every way.
