This Persian rug is in the categories of Persian Rug (Persian Carpet) and Isfahan Persian Rug (Isfahan Persian Carpet), and it has been introduced and provided by Hadi Maktabi Gallery. An early generation masterpiece from the famed Seirafian workshop in Isfahan, this carpet is unusually large. Most of their production, especially early on from the 1930s to the 1960s, consisted of ghaliche size rugs averaging 2 meters length. The scale of this is gigantic in comparison. It is in 100% superb condition with vegetable dyes and significant silk highlights. The fringes are complete and in silk with the bottom silk kilim intact.
