Antique Khamseh bird rugs are among my tribal favourites. They’re fun, they’re quirky, and they’re always unpredictably full of surprises and indelible charm. Like this. Most are either small sized or long and narrow. This is only the second 3 x 2 meter one I’ve had (the other sold last year and is in a beautiful north California home). It’s the ideal size in my opinion, perfect for interiors and with the most sought after proportions. It’s also the rarest and hardest to find.
