Mohajeran Sarouk is one of the very few types of Sarouk carpets that are made from the finest wool and brilliant natural dyes. The quality of the wool used to make Mohajeran Sarouk carpets is excellent. This wool is rich in lanolin, and the heavy construction makes Sarouk carpets very durable, typically worn by generations. The most important feature of the Mohajeran Sarouk carpet is the floral and potted pattern, which is inspired by the background design of much older carpets, such as the 19th century Farahan Sarouk carpets, which feature the Lakh and Toranj pattern.
