Imam Khomeini Square is the central square in Hamadan. The plan of this square was designed and implemented by Karl Frisch, a German architect. Despite the history of over a century, this square has maintained its importance in the structure of Hamadan streets and bazaar. Imam Khomeini Square has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
