About Ostad Shagerd Mosque
Ostad Shagerd Mosque (Master& Apprentice Mosque) was built in 742 A.H. by Amir Hossein Choopani, known as Ala'eddin. The inside inscriptions and contents on outside walls of the mosque are written by Abdullah Seyrafi, the well-known calligraphist of Ilkhanid Period and one of his apprentices. Therefore, this mosque is known as Ostad Shagerd Mosque.
