Imamzadeh Taher is on the course of Karaj to Qazvin Highway, after Mehrshahr Bridge. The real name of Imamzadeh Taher is Hussain Akbar. He is one of the children of Imam Sajjad (PBUH). It dates back to Safavid Era. However, the old building was demolished due to being worn-out in 1996 and then the new building was constructed with an area of 1400m2. The new building of Imamzadeh Taher has a dome house, two aisles, two minarets and a porch.
