About Shahid Motahari Mosque and School
Shahid Motahari Mosque and School is a magnificent building constructed in 13th century A.H. at the time of Naseruddin Shah Qajar, on the south of Baharestan Palace in Tehran. It includes a frontage, vestibule, chambers on two floors, four porches, a huge dome, shabistan, eight minarets, tile work minaret and a library repository. This structure is of major importance due to colorful mural tiles as well as integrated pillar carvings and plinth stones. In addition, the library of this complex is of special importance due to having unique manuscripts.
