Park-e Shahr (City Park) is one of the old parks of Tehran with an area of about 25 hectares and eight entrances. It includes sections like Tehran Peace Museum, Aquarium, pool, sport center, library and Birdwatching Site. Birdwatching is a branch of ecotourism with many fans among ecotourists. In Birdwatching, birds are observed and recorded using binoculars and Handbook of Birds. Hitherto, over 40 species of birds have been identified in this park that include resident birds, migrating summer and winter birds as well as passing birds.
