About Municipality Palace
Municipality Palace is one of the beautiful buildings of Tabriz located in the most central point in the city, i.e. Shahrdari Square. This building was constructed from 1936 to 1940 under the supervision of German engineers. Municipality Palace has a clock tower. The exterior of the building is carved stone and its plan is like a flying eagle that matches buildings in Germany before World War II. Since the beginning of construction up to now, this building has been used as the Municipality Palace of Tabriz and today, since Tabriz is being divided into 10 district municipalities, the central municipality of Tabriz is located in this palace. In addition, this palace is currently used as the first city museum and municipality of Iran.
