About Sanandaj Church
Sanandaj Church belongs to late Safavid Era and it is located in old neighborhood of Aghe Zaman, Sanandaj. The construction and architecture of this church is affected by Isfahan style of architecture. On the minaret of the church bell, ma'gheli and girih tiles are used. The stones of propylaeum with carvings of lotus and bergamot are the work of Sanandaji masters. This church has an active aqueduct and a picturesque fountain is in its courtyard in the south side.
