About Tomb of Saheb-ol-Amr
Tomb of Saheb-ol-Amr is among the oldest monuments of Tabriz in the center of this city that is constructed to the order of Shah Tahmasp I. As the Ottoman troops invaded Iran, this monument was completely destroyed. However, as they retreated, the building was reconstructed. Only two marble arcs have remained since Shah Tahmasp I, that are regarded historic. This monument has a dome and two minarets. Today, the Museum of Qur'an and Writing is located in this monument. Tomb of Saheb-ol-Amr has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
