About Joubi Bridge
Joubi Bridge is one of the bridges constructed over the Zayandeh Rud. There used to be a stream (joub in Persian) on the bridge and therefore, it was called the Joubi Bridge. Ordinary people were not allowed to use the bridge and it was built specially to connect the south and north royal gardens, i.e. the Daryacheh Garden to the vast Sa'adat Abad gardens and the majestic Haft Dast Palace, Ayineh Khaneh Kiosk, Kashkool Palace and Namakdan Palace. The royal family of Safavid dynasty, rulers, important guests and ambassadors used this bridge to cross the river.
