Morvarid Palace (Pearl Palace) is located in Mehrshar, Karaj. It has been constructed within 1967 to 1969. Its plan is a flounder that has surrounded a shell.  On the north side of this palace, a lake is constructed to the shape of the flounder fins. One of the major parts of Morvarid Palace is the Shell Room with assorted adornments, especially its exterior view that is constructed spirally. Morvarid Palace has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
