Saint Simeon Church is located on Zand Street, Shiraz. It is a contemporary church the construction of which terminated in 1939. The founder and the first priest of this church has been Ralph Norman Sharp, the English scientist and orientalist. Saint Simeon Church is among the most beautiful churches of Iran where all Iranian architectural details are considered. The prayer hall ceiling of this church is brick overarching and colorful windows with delicate and fine designs are used everywhere instead of hatches and these windows can also be seen in old houses of Shiraz. Saint Simeon Church has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
