About Zaman Khan Bridge
Zaman Khan Bridge is located 22 kilometers to the north of Shahr-e Kord, in the middle of the gardens of Il Beygi Village, on the Zayandeh Rood. This bridge was constructed to the order of Zaman Khan, the head of Nafar Clan and one of the famous commanders of the Safavid Kings. Zaman Khan Bridge has two spans with a length of 30 meters and height of 12 meters on three natural stone bases. In the past, Qashqai and Bakhtiari tribes and nomads passed Zaman Khan Bridge. However, this bridge is currently used as a tourist attraction. Around this bridge, there are many gardens with assorted fruit trees that have created eye-catching landscapes. This bridge being located on the Zayandeh Rood and eye-catching natural landscapes around it, along with constructional measures have made the area around this bridge as one of the important promenades of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
