Imam Khomeini Mosque is one of the most beautiful historic mosques in Tehran. It belongs to Qajar Era and it is located in the bazaar region of Tehran. Imam Khomeini Mosque has four porches, dome house, three main shabistans and a square pool in the middle of the courtyard. The general architecture and part of the details of this mosque are derived from Vakil Mosque of Shiraz. Imam Khomeini Mosque has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
