Imam Khomeini Mosque is located in downtown of Semnan and it is considered one of the major and beautiful buildings of Semnan. It has four large entrances on the north, south, east and northwest. The northwest entrance opens to a long corridor at the end of which is Tekyeh Pahneh. The north, south and east entrances have vestibule, corridor and a hall. There are beautiful muqarnas and plaster work on top of north and east entrances. The north, south and east vestibules have domed brick arcs.
