Bazaar of Sanandaj belongs to Qajar Era and it is located in the center of Sanandaj City. Contrary to all Iranian bazaars that are formed linearly, this bazaar has been constructed as a rectangle, inspired by the surroundings of Imam Square in Isfahan, in the middle of which different commercial buildings are located. Despite modern shopping centers, Bazaar of Sanandaj has still maintained its status and value commercially. Bazaar of Sanandaj has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
