Keeyow Lake is located in the northwest of Khorram Abad. In Lori Khorram Abadi, Keey Aw means blue and livid and this lake is called Keeyow due to its clear and deep water, which is seen as blue and indigo. The area of Keeyow Lake is seven hectares with a depth of three to seven meters. Keeyow Lake is a seasonal lake and springhead; however, to make this lake permanent, the water from the permanent spring of Golestan is attributed to this lake. It is a good habitat for aquatic animals and native and migratory birds. Next to this lake, recreational facilities, theme park and great landscapes could be found.
